Q.

Dear doctors.... my daughter has developed the habit of biting and chewing her nails... I constantly try to stop her.. but it seems unavoidable... plz guide how to get rid of this.... it's been more than a month I have not cut her nails... coz of this habit of hers.....

A. this is just a habit in your child which can be changed. you can either divert the child or you can talks with the child to change the habit. many times by regular negative feedback mechanism you will be unable to change the habit of the child. you can take help dof your pediatrician .
