POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Do not use chemical mosquito repellents on babies less than two months of age. For babies younger than two months, it's best to choose the right clothing, as well as bed nets as the primary form of protection.Insect repellents are not recommended for children younger th an 2 months of age. DEET-containing repellents should not be harmful if parents follow directions on the label to use the product safely. DEET products can cause skin rashes especially when high concentrations are used, but these reactions are rare.
