Can salt be given to babies

A. avoid sugar and salt. as kidneys are immature, sodium load may not be tolerated, sugars lead to tendency of having sweet foods only, instead give all food groups. also it reduces risk of future diseases

A. hi yes,you can add but not that much as we add it in our food. young babies don't have fully developed digestive system so their kidneys can not cope up with extra amount of salt.. so use it in very very small quantity.
