can I give oats for my 6month babies? what is your opinion

A. Hello mom in the initial months of introducing weaning foods it would be better if you could prefer some easy to digest foods only as the baby gets used to them you can then gradually introduce grains such as oats so ideally from 8 months you can start.

A. Oats may be introduced as soon as baby is ready to start solids, which is generally around 6 months of age. Oats are commonly cross-contaminated with gluten-containing grains, rendering them no longer gluten-free, so those with celiac disease should take care and buy certified gluten-free oats.
