Q.
Can I give head bath to my 1 years old baby he is having cold and cough for almost a week? And also want to understand is it okay to give bath to baby during cold cough and fever?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer.
allergy caxn be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food aflso.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.
