can i apply mupirocin cream on my nipple which my baby cut with her teeth while breastfeed?

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist3 years agoA. it is an antibiotic cream so it is better to take advice from your gynecologist first and then only use it as your child might be breastfeeding
you can use a nipple shield to feed your child

Yes you can apply it but you have to clean your nipples properly before feeding your baby. Or you can also start using Babyhug nipple shields it will help you protect your nipples from babies bite. Baby should be totally on mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else till baby turned six months old
