Hello ma’am It has different uses it is basically given in the body to manage the hormones to make a woman reach to its menopause if she still having a periods at that age also due to lack of natural progesterone in the body. This is what basically I know about it but if you any other issue relating to the same please consult your gynaecologist because some medicines are given for different reasons of one medicine is used for lots of things so I am not very sure whether this is the same reason for You are
