Q.

Born prematurely having weight of 1.486 kg was kept in special care unit in the hospital for 14 days . Her weight was 1.623 at the time of discharge. Now after another 15 days her weight is been 1.7 k.g . Ie growth of 70 gramme only. is it normal?

A. Hello dear parent!! Weight gain is slow. Just continue feeding your baby well on demand. Keep your doctor informed about the changes and weight. Maintain a good personal hygiene and follow your doctor’s advice. Good luck and take care
