body temperature of my baby is not reducing even after giving calpol..? 102.5 temp is shwng in thermomtr

A. kindly give paracetamol for fever and it is given according to the weight as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having. whether higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p)are required or not will be told byd the doctor. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever do body sponge and give plenty of water to drink and easily digestibled food.

A. You should do cold sponge that is going to help in reducing down the temperature for the child because that usually helps and you can do it on the forehead and behind the knees of the child that really helps a lot in breaking the temperature
