Q.

birth weight was 2.45 now she is 5.6 is this too low? what are the food recommended for weight gain and how many times a day we can give?

A. See, what i understand is that your child is 6 month old and weighs 5.6kg Ideally she should weight 6.5-7.5 kg. But it is alright, need not worry much as parents weight and other factors too matters. You can feed her with mashed or scratched banana, grated apple, oats (salty, prepared in daliya style, may add very less carrots pieces too boil with oats or daliya itself) and such other soft foods Dont feed her sweet things as of now

Your child is double the birthweight in fact better than that so this is good enough as of now further with the food that you start even include all kind of food and vegetables you can give varieties made out of ragi Suji and oats and porridge and khichadi can also be given on every day basis with or without vegetables as per your choice
