Beta hcg 40 is it normal at 5wks

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your question is related to your pregnancy so if you are at 5 weeks gestation and hCG level is 40 then it’s quite normal but you should not go every thing by lab reports but take opinion of your gyaenecologist

Pregnancy week Standard hCG range
3 weeks 5–50 mIU/mL
4 weeks 5–426 mIU/mL
5 weeks 18–7,340 mIU/mL
6 weeks 1,080–56,500 mIU/mL
Any concern then it 8s better to check with your doctor and your doctor can guide you accordingly
