Baby having cough and cold, nasal spray being applied..what more can be done to ease cough..baby crying while coughing

A. Cough and cold can we because of some allergic rfeaction in the body most of the time it is viral in thet origin need to give symptomatic treatment first like steam inhalation and some home remedies cough expectorant may be required along with anti allergic medications
