Q.
Baby bites the nipple in the beginning of feed leading to soreness and pain in the nipple rendering it unusable for a while, what is the solution as nipples have to be ever ready for feeds?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Looks like you have nipple cracks. You can purchase nipple shield which can be worn as a cap on the nipple. You can feed directly while feeding too. Apply nip care cream

Try applying warm compress on the paining area in between feeds. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby.
