if you see that the child is having ear pain you will have to give painkiller that is paracetamol 
which will help in decreasing the pain for now and then meet your doctor to find the cause of ear pain 
because it can be due to infection as well as cough and cold 
kindly maintain hygiene of the eyes and clean it with with clean water. 
normally simple secretions / allergy redness should not occur again and again.
use hygienic cloth as well as your hands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes
if the child's eyesd is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge coming out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection .
do not use any drops witout medical consultation
