A. Hai good evening!! As baby is 8 months old you can give semi solid, mashed,semi mashed foods - Fruits and vegetables puriees, mashes, cerelac, kichdi, porridge, idly,ragi malts/porridge,kheer with formula milk, mashed rice with dal,curd, rice porridge, roti pieces with dal/curd /milk.... Banana, mango, potato, beans, peas, cerelac with cereals,millets, grains; dals, idly, ghee, cheese, butter, curd, paneer, dry fruits and nuts powder in cerelac/kheer helps in weight gain, muscle strength...
