Q.

#asktheexperts there is a lump formed after vaccination in leg when he was four months. now he is 12 month and the lump is so hard now.... but he doesn't have any pain or swelling but it is in the form of a lump what can we do?

A. after painful vaccines like dpt which comes with pentavalent vaccine can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two months also. it does not require any treatmment and should go away on its own. after vaccination immediately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting

A. hello ususally it goes away in few days and if still hard then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too
