#asktheexperts sir, baby born on 8th Dec. Attached the test result of Bilirubin carrried on 11th Dec and the medication followed since 11th Dec. Baby eyes are very slightly pale. mothers feeding started only since 10th Dec. Do we need to take him to Paediatric? Baby is keeping well. No fever. Taking milk normal. please suggest.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. no pic attached, physiological jaundice.. very common in newborn..It will subside by it's own by the end of second week. Just breast feed your baby two to three hourly and on demand. Do Consult your paedritician once.
