Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. if child is not gaining proper weight you need to consult your doctor to rule out the cause and most of the time it could be because of nutritionael deficiencies like nutritional anemia and some other factors like malabsorption any chronic disease like congenital heart difsease or some chronic infection specially urine infection or worm infestation should be checked if required .

Some babies don’t gain weight easily but in such is if your baby is active and taking proper meals on time then everything is fine and nothing to worry about. Baby should take at least four meals in a day and you should also start giving banana shake every morning it will help in increasing babies weight
