Q.

#asktheexperts one kid in my family developed molluscum contagiousum and that kid will be travelling from abroad to my home soon. how to prevent my kids from catching infection? if caught how long does it take for symptoms to start? my kids have low immunity so will it be dangerous for them? i need to travel with my kids to abroad soon. so will presence of molluscum on face or other visible areas cause problems in boarding a plane?

A. Hello, your question is little bit funny but worrisome but M Contagiosum is not a scabies or COVID infection but a skin disease which is not killing one and not stopping you from air journey

A. avoid close contact and direct contact there is limited period of time when it can be infectious maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output maintain hygiene in the area clean with Luke warm
