#asktheexperts My son is suffering from fever. He was having 101-102 fever a day before yesterday. We were giving him 100mg PCM 1ML after every 6 hours. But yesterday we went to doctor, he prescribed 250mg PCM 3.5ML every 6 hours. My baby weight is 8.9 kg and age is 9 months. Can we go with the doctor prescription as personally i feen 3.5 ml 250 mg PCM is a heavy dose. Kindly suggest.

Mam it is much higher actually the dose of the medicine is higher when it comes to 3.5 ML it is still okay to give 250 MG that is not a problem but 3.5 ML is extremely high but since we do not interfere with what your doctor suggesting I would suggest you to go for what your doctor recommend or you take a second opinion from another doctor in person
