#asktheexperts my son is now 3 months old and totally on mother feed but he is not gaining much weight can you plz tell me to how to increase his weight?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, continue to exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. That’s the most healthy way to gain weight. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
If baby is gaining weight at least 500 grams per month and is active, alert and passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then do not worry.
