#asktheexperts My daughter is one year old and weigh only 7.5 kg . What can I do to gain her weight?

A. Dear parent, if your baby has tripled the birth weight by one year then do not worry. For healthy weight gain, you can give eggs and non veg food if you eat non veg foods. Give dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, dates and raisins. Include all seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Add ghee to every meal. At least 500 ml of full cream milk and milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Breastfeed baby till 2 years.
