hello doctor my baby is 5 month old.. but his weigh is only 5.5 kg... what should I do to gain his weight

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello mom check his weight as per his birth weight which generally monthly gain of range 300 gm to 1 kg is considered and by the age of 4 to 6 months they almost double the birth weight.

Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly so you should definitely calculate accordingly. Baby should be totally on mother‘s milk and there is no need to give anything else to your baby till your baby turned six months old .
