#asktheexperts My daughter is not having mother’s milk properly since last week. After 4-5 hours she feeds for 2-3 mins and sometimes 5-10 mins(rarely) . She is having cold and cough also. Please guide

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 5 months old and she doesn’t get enough breast milk after 5 hours even,so give her a formula milk like nanpro 1 upto 6 months

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Overstimulation, delayed feedings or a long separation from you might cause fussiness and difficulty nursing. A strong reaction from you to being bitten during breast-feeding might have the same effect. Sometimes a baby is simply too distracted to breast-feed. Unusual scents or tastes.
