A. teething is not directly related to digestion problem or any type of fever or loose motion or illness but during the teething process children place dirty things or dirty fingers in the oral cavity (this help in self soothing) which can lead to digestion problem or vomiting or loose motion or infection which can cause fever. placing dirty fingers or dirty objects in the oral cavity continues for 2 years of age and in this phase only the child falls ill during the teething phase remember the fact that teething continues for 10 years but the child doesn't fall ill for 10 years the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as feverz to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperaturez water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.
