#asktheexperts My Daughter is 23 months and she is having a cold due to weather change and allergy. 5 days already having what should we do and what meal we can give. She is not able to sleep due to running nose

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a prbjioper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
