A. If your 1 year 9-month-old child experiences acid reflux every month, you can help reduce it by offering smaller, more frequent meals and avoiding overfeeding. Keep your child upright for at least 30 minutes after eating to help food settle. Avoid giving heavy, oily, or spicy foods, and limit citrus fruits or juices that may irritate the stomach. Make sure your child is not lying down immediately after meals or feeding. If reflux continues regularly or worsens, consult a pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues and to see if medication or dietary adjustments are needed.
