you have to find the cause of flash because whether it is due to dryness of the skin or due to sensitive skin or due to sweating related problem and accordingly you have to apply the medicine. 
if you are applying moisturizing lotion as well as coconut oil then it might be due to dry and sensitive skin so you have to apply it in such a frequency that the skin remains always oily in 24 hours. that much frequency of application will be needed to dec the rash

U Can try completely switching to see the cetaphil products soup or lotion whatever is going to be there for your child that way because you are saying that your child suffers from rashes every now and then your child has too much of sensitive skin so I think these products are going to be really helpful for the child in a longer run
