#asktheexperts my baby is taking feed only for 5 minutes or so.. each time.. and on completely breast feed.. so is it okay?? and he farts so mNy times

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. you try minimum15 minutes.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.

Yes If your child is full for a minimum of two hours after taking one breast feeding from you even if it is for minimum five minutes that means your child is able to take sufficient breastfeed from you within those five minutes only so don’t worry about it it’s absolutely normal
