#asktheexperts my baby is not gaining weight properly,hes not eating rice much,spitting it out his bw:3.6 cw:7.6 he is 8 months old now what shall i do to increase his weight? mrng he eats idly/dosa/upma lunch:rice evng:ragi porridge dnr:rice (only 2 to 3 spoons) what else can i give him ??

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hello mom guess he is not preferring rice much so you can avoid it for some days or you can also try to add different flavours to it to feed her .
Also as in the evening you are giving her ragi porridge so she is not hungry by dinner as ragi is quite a filling meal itself
