#asktheexperts my baby is not gaining weight properly .. 3 months old .. and his weight is 5 kg.. his birth weight is 3.07 kgs ..

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. your baby is 3 month old at this age feed as often as they seem hungry or want comforted, offer more breastfeeds, feed from both breasts at each breastfeed.
If you're concerned, meet with a lactation consultant.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good afternoon the weight gain has been fine because a child is supposed to gain 400 to 500 grams per month which you are baby has been successfully able to do so you don't have to worry about it
