I would recommend you to kindly check with your doctor what medicine is going to be good from my side I can recommend you to give steam to the child indirectly along with that you should also make sure that you are putting nasal drops from time to time and when you put your child on the bed keep the head in an elevated position by keeping a pillow underneath because that helps an easy and better breathing
