#asktheexperts my baby is 7 months old and still doesn't sleep very well. wakes up with the slightest sound. in the day time he catnaps 3-4 times at night before sleeping he is very restless, tosses and turns many times before finally dozing off. also keeps tossing and wants to feed all night. how to make him sleep soundly

At seven months old, three naps – morning, early afternoon, and late afternoon – is not unusual at all, and her descent into a bunch of short catnaps during the day suggests that she made the jump to two naps too early. Lots of babies don't drop that third nap until more like 9-12 months old.
