#asktheexperts My baby is 6 weeks old and has small bumps on the her thighs and face. Is it normal or do I need to consult a doctor

A. they appear to be skin eruptions due to either viral infection or due to allergic skin and sensitive skin. most of the times they will go away on their own without any treatment. do not apply any lotion cream or powder which might cause allergy if there are any discharge presendt then you can apply t bact cream. meet your doctor for local examination

A. See if it is just a normal rash or pimple then you can apply calamine lotion but if it is spreading or becoming more harsh over the period then you should consult a doctor otherwise as of now apply calamine lotion three times in the day and that should be good
