#asktheexperts my baby is 6 months 2 days old. His current weight is 6.7kg . his birth weight is 2 kg. since last month his weight is increased to 200gm only .. I started giving him moong dal water and rice water. what should I give him in solid introduction to increase his weight?

A. 6.7 kg weight is good n weight gain is also good. Give mashed boiled Moong Daal, rice kangi. Ragi porridge, rice porridge. Give vegetables such as pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree, and fruits puree of pears, avocado, apple, ripe banana, papaya . also continue breast feeding on demand

Wait seems okay to me currently but the way it is going to increase over the period as well so currently you do not have to do anything go ahead with giving proper food to the child that you are offering and make sure that you are giving good amount of protein as well to the child because proteins are really very important for healthy growthWrite Your Answer Here
