#asktheexperts my baby is 5 months old her weight is 5.4 birth weight is 2.2 is it a good weight gain?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician2 years agoA. yes weight should double the birth weight by 5 months of age Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

nothing to worry.
kindly contiue with breastfeeding
start giving semisolid food only after 6 months age
maintain good hygiene using Babyhug multipurpose cleaner
