Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 19 month old 1 dose of hepatitis we given 6 month before (biovac A freeze dried live attenuated hepatitis A vaccine).now we want to given 2 nd dose of hepatitis so 2nd dose same as 1 dose we given. or with hepatitis can we given vercella 2nd dose also.

A. when you are giving live vaccine of hepatitis A then only one dose is enough and there is no need to give the second dose of hepatitis A. second dose is given only when killed vaccine of hepatitis A is given

Q. #AskTheExpert , my baby has been given 2 doses of rotavirus vaccine, the discription of which stated 'rotavirus vaccine live attenuated FREEZE DRIED' and its dose was 2.5 ml. Now i have moved to some other place and i need to give my baby its third dose. but the vaccine available here states 'rotavirus vaccine live attenuated' but NOT freeze dried and its dose is 2 ml instead of 2.5. Are the two vaccines same?? can it be given as the 3rd dose or i need to search for the same vaccine?? plz help ...i m attaching the pics of both the vaccines
