Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 1 year 4 month.. she does not eat anything..only taking mother feed and 2 time bottle only 50-70ml.. I am very tensed what to do.. last month I visit to dr. he gave me syrups.. but when I gave syrup to my daughter she ate otherwise not. please suggest me. how to feed her

A. Baby needs to see the things from which they learn more so you should sit with your baby to eat healthy nutritious diet and looking at you the baby will get interest in eating. So you need to spend more time with your baby to teach your baby anything At 1 year, solid foods – including healthy snacks – are now your child's main source of energy and nutrition. He can take between three quarters to one cup of food three to four times a day, plus one to two snacks between meals. Continue breastfeeding as much as your child wants, until he is at least 2 years old.

So start with the syrup again for the time being maybe it is to activate the appetite also start with an iron supplement I think your child’s haemoglobin level is not proper which is why the child is not eating so if it is okay with you would recommend you to conduct a test to figure out what all deficiencies is your child having as of now
