#asktheexperts my baby girl is 56 days old Today I got light cold and cough and due that head ache and throat pain will it affect my baby.??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalatfion can be given frequently to relideve the symptoms.

yes ,it can but not necessary that a child get it.
so ,to prevent this , please offer plenty of breastfeeds to your child because breastmilk contains antibodies which help to protect your child from any viral or bacterial Infections.
you can take dolo tablet for headache ,it is safe during breastfeeding journey.
you can take mixture of honey and ginger to cure sore throat,cold and cough.
