#asktheexperts My baby boy of 6 months 15 days weighs 6.6 kg .. is it fine ? Birth weight is 2.2 kg.. after 5 months his weight gain is not more than 400g per month What can be his weight in 1 year??

We just go by the concept of two times of the birth and three times of the birth by the time of six and 12 months respectively then this is a healthy weight normally a child should be somewhere around three times of the birth weight or 10 kg by the age of 12 months whatever is on the higher side is considered much healthier
