#asktheexperts my baby boy is 7month old , his weight is 8.75 and his birth weight is 5kg. Is he underweight?

As per normal standards if I look at it the way it is not less for a seven month old child the weight is very good but yes if I look at the birth weight of the child then I would say it is less because as per Dr is a child should have double the birth weight or more than double the birth weight by completing the time of six months so I do not think that the way it is appropriate on that basis otherwise normally we measure the weight seems completely fine but still I would recommend you to consult your paediatrician one time
