#Asktheexperts my baby boy has completed 4 months on 2 Feb his weight is 5.5 kg, and birth weight was 2.7 kg. he has not gained adequate weight. he is on breast feeding but seems to be hungry quite often, however does not takes formula milk, can I start him on supplement food and what can I start

A. child should double it's birth weight by completion of Six month and triples by one year. give only breastmilk till completion of Six month. after that start with liquid

A. But Wait she’s quite genuine to me also you cannot start with semisolid food before completing the age of 26 weeks of birth so as of now you’ll have to continue with breast feeding or stop feeding however you will have to manage it because that’s the only thing to be given to the child at this age
