#asktheexperts my baby 8 weeks started now, still social smile is pending. We are unsure if she is able to fix her gaze at us. by when does baby social smile should happen

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy9 months agoA. Hello mam. The reason behind this is that the baby is too young and the babies normally start to give social smile after the age of three months. If the baby is active and taking feed properly, then no need to panic. It is not advisable to give anything to the baby other than mother’s milk till the age of six months.
