A. If your 5-month-old baby is frequently vomiting milk after feeding, it could be due to overfeeding, swallowing air, or mild reflux. To help prevent this, try feeding smaller amounts more frequently, burp your baby well during and after each feed, and keep them upright for at least 20–30 minutes after feeding. Avoid tight clothing around the tummy, and ensure the baby's head is slightly elevated when lying down. If vomiting is forceful, contains bile, or baby shows signs of discomfort or poor weight gain, consult your pediatrician to rule out any medical issues like GERD.
