#asktheexperts My 1 month daughter has not passed motions for past 5 days. She is trying hard to poop but she is passing gas. Feeding, urine and activity is normal. Please advise

A. typically breastfed babies will not poop as often because their bodies absorb most of the breast milk. going even a week without having a bowel movement is ok, ct breast feeding..

A. Hi Parent please always feed your child in tilted position and keep in up ward position after every feed please give gentle massage on stomach area in clock wise direction you can apply Babyhug tummy roll on if necessary
