If there are worms in the stomach and your child is having stomach pain, it could be due to a worm infection like pinworms or roundworms, which are common in children. Symptoms may include itching around the anus, disturbed sleep, poor appetite, and abdominal discomfort. Give a deworming medicine like Albendazole or Mebendazole, but only after consulting a doctor for the correct dose. Maintain good hygiene — trim nails, wash hands before eating and after using the toilet, and keep the surroundings clean to prevent reinfection. Also, repeat deworming every 6 months as per your doctor’s advice.
