#asktheexperts ideal weight for 2 months old.. and my baby is very fussy.. often cries at night. is it normal?

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy3 years agoA. Hello good morning !! Generally babies increase 400-700 gm approximately per month.
However they reduce 150-400gm from birth weight in the initial weeks and regain to normal weight by 3-4 weeks of birth.
The ideal weight of two months old should be 3.5-5.5 kg .
Baby cries due to Hungry,wet nappy, colic issues.
Try to give feed, console by holding, gently patting once they latch babies will stop cry if they cries for hunger, check nappy (change if it's wet /spoilt), check your milk supply,if baby cries continuously by stretching body not taking feed then it's colic consult Paediatrician for colic issues - Do regular Tummy massage, burping after every feed will avoid gas, colic issues.
