#asktheexperts I'm mother of 1 year old. can I take covid vaccination.

A. if you're giving breastfeeding then also you should take the vaccine for Coronan infection government of India does not allow lactating mother and pregnant mother to take vaccination. at present the government does not have any statistics and studies and clinical trials to show whether this vaccine is safe for them or not. but according to Western studies and western medical guidelines they recommend that lactating mothers can take the vaccination. also so there are many e gynaecological and paediatric doctors would recommend this. the final decision has to be taken by the mother after consulting your personal doctor

A. whether or not you can take the vaccination it depends on the fact whether you are feeding your baby or not if you are feeding your child I would not recommend you to go ahead otherwise you can get it done
