#asktheexperts I'm a mother of 45 days old baby.My baby didn't poop yet.It's been 4 days since.whether it s normal or not?He has been exclusively breast feeding.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food hasf been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medxications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

four days is ok
if it's five days or.more.then please consult your pediatrician
keep her well hydrated by giving her breast milk Every two hours as well as according to her demand
take sunbathing daily
