#asktheexperts I have stopped breast feeding when daughter was 1 year old,now she is 1.6 year old. Sometimes I still feel sober of chest n pain and heaviness in breast. what can be the reason??

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 1.5 years old now it's been documented that even after leaving breast feeding breast milk production can continue till months.sometime milk clots are formed which might also pain try giving hot fomentation and gentle massage from base towards nipple and if problem persist visit your gynacologist
